If your looking at this site through the miopic lens of IE6 (or lower) I suppose it may look a little wonky. But seriously, you gatta ask yourself why your still using that antiquanted piece of crap. I can only assume it's because your IT department has not upgraded. If so, remind them that the Village People went out of style in the 90's and maybe give Radiohead a try. The developers will thank you for it.

On the Web, Your Work is Fleeting...

When you work on the web, you know what it must feel like to be Andy Goldsworthy... at any moment a breeze may blow just a little to hard and the carefully constructed structure you've worked so diligently on comes withering down into a memory. I've been through 6 startups and each one has flicked the off switch, and years of work went dark as if they never even existed. Here are a few live projects as well as a few I've managed to revive from my archives.

Halo Legends

EMPLOYER:

StoverPix

CLIENT:

Silicon Ridge

A website to accompany the release of the Halo Legends seven episode movie. It's always helpful to have great assets to work with and this had plenty. Final deliverables where in the form of flash scenes which where translated into the Silicon Ridge framework and final animation and functionality added.

BEA IT2IT

EMPLOYER:

BEA

CLIENT:

BEA Marketing

A series of JSP websites devoted to very specific BEA audiences: Developer, IT, Executives, and Architects. I was instrumental in the planning, design, coding, production and management of all the sites except the developer site, "dev2dev". All of these examples had to be slightly re-coded to work outside the JSP environment. Most of the links point to pages on the BEA site which no longer exists.

BEA - Liquid Thinkers

EMPLOYER:

BEA

AGENCY:

Eleven Inc.

The Liquid Thinkers web site showcasing inspirational leaders and their stories told through their own words. A good example of what Flash does best—even back in 2007. I worked with our Agency (eleven) through the design, production, testing, and implementation process and managed all the updates and maintenance after deployment. I was surprised to find I still had a functioning copy of this, as it was soon unplugged after the Oracle acquisition.

Marx Brothers

EMPLOYER:

StoverPix

CLIENT:

Silicon Ridge

Here is a website that's still live (from 2003) on the Warner Video site. The creative mimics the look and feel of the box-set. It's kind of a fun little site once you turn off the background audio... I don't remember it going on so long.

BEA Rahal Racing

EMPLOYER:

BEA

CLIENT:

BEA Promotions

A web experience to accompany BEA's sponsorship of the Rahal Letterman Racing team. This ended up being 100% me from concept to delivery. I worked with pretty much every group inside of the BEA marketing department as well as many, outside of Marketing, including engineering teams.

Anarchist Cook Book

EMPLOYER:

StoverPix

CLIENT:

Silicon Ridge

A promotional site for the movie "The Anarchist Cookbook". Everything in the content area is synchronized with the video. Scrubbing the video will also scrub all the animations. Pretty cool. It uses the same framework layer as the Marx Bros. site and is probably the best example I have of what Blend Mediaworks technology did.
