Design manager with UI/UE expertise and hands-on experience in all aspects of creative, online
design, user experience, information arch, product dev,
branding, strategy, and more. I bring a wealth of experience, a can-do
attitude, a fun and humorous disposition, along with the commitment and sweat
required to get the job done.
I'm inspired by the ideas and input of others and thrive on completing the
circuit with my own brand of enthusiasm, and creative contribution. I'm a self-starter and perfectly comfortable
working with a minimal amount of input, I'm also at home within the confines of an established structure.
My ideal is to secure a position in an environment which cultivates creativity
and innovation, where I can utilize my depth of experience across many
disciplines to deliver results across a larger scope. I'm no stranger to
hands-on design and coding, but in today's environment I understand the importance of leveraging expertise beyond my personal experience—because the reality is... no one can
do everything. |

Mixercast
02/07 to 07/09 |
Creative Services Director |
| |
Mixercast specialized in the social networking widget space sporting a versatile platform and Flash application tool for creating, sharing, distributing, and tracking branded widget applications across Social Networks. When Mixercast shifted it's business proposition from B2C to B2B via white-labeling the tools and licencing the platform, I managed the design and production of 95% of the projects from concept to delivery for clients including Google, New Line Cinema, Intel, Marvel Comics, ET, MTV, Intuit, Comedy Central, and many others, which constituted most of the incoming revenue.
As UI designer, it was my job to work with engineering to develop the tools as the platform was ported from AS2 to the AS3 Flex architecture. Many new features where added, all of which had to be defined, mapped, tested, and documented. Other products I helped spec and manage include a video editing timeline application, as well as a Gigya type distribution tool which moved all the social networking sharing functionality and associated data collection from the external Gigya platform to Mixercast internal, and would eventually compete with Gigya and Clearspring in that market. |
